Livestream Tools – WIP

Project Brief

This is a passion project of mine, that will provide a bunch of amazing services to make the job of content creators (mainly live streamers) a lot easier. A previous prototype, I developed will be included in this service, and will be one of the first available.

The services planned will be thing such as a song information pop-up that connects to various services, a on screen widget for a stream schedule. and many more.

Design

The design of this project is very important to me, I want it to be, of course responsive so it can be accessed via any device, as well as I want the user experience and interface to be as simple and fool proof as possible.

There will also be some challenges to over come, as the services will come with some level of customisation for the users and being able to support that in the easiest way possible to. 

Development

For this project I will be building the front end with React as the end user will be using it via one source that will combine all services they choose. The reason for choosing React was because I wanted to expand my experience with it, as well as it being a great framework for single page applications.

The back end for the service at the time of writing this, is planned to be Node JS, though this could change closer to the start of me building the backend. I plan to build an API for the services that will interact with other APIs from other services.
